What is an Immersion Heater?
An immersion heater is a high-speed, cost-effective, and effective method for heating fluids in tanks or other equipment. Also Known as bayonet heaters, they have heating components that can insert directly into the water, oil, or other material containers to heat the whole contents.
By using the heat transfer directly for an immersion heater, liquids quickly attain the aspired temperature. Constructed of bundles of tubing, it can be mounted on the surface of a container or sunk in the contents. Their heating coils convey heat to the contents, which radiates throughout the vessel.

Pipe and infrared immersion heaters are categorise as indirect and do not directly touch a fluid.

Other types of over-side immersion heaters include single tank, dual-tank, and the newest, which has a triple-fuel tank that offers a 360 degree “hot spot” that heats three times faster than a traditional barbeque grill.
Some over the counter heaters offer a choice of single-burner, double-burner, or triple-burner units, each providing a different heat level. Single-burner units produce a steady level of heat and usually are suitable for small barbeque grills. Double-burner units have an intense burst of heat, sometimes reaching a maximum temperature of 720 degrees Fahrenheit. Triple-burner units, the latest technology, allow for precise temperatures of up to 925 degrees Fahrenheit.

Screw plug immersion heaters can provide a very efficient method for heating appliances. These devices are design for use with oil, gas or propane heaters and deliver an intense level of heat within a relatively short period of time. They are also familiar as hot stone or iceboxes and may be use in outdoor applications such as patios, decks, and poolside cabins. Most units are portable, and some are small enough to fit into a pocket or purse. Most models produce up to five gallons of steam and are of one piece of steel construction. Sizes of screw plug immersion heaters come in both large and small sizes, with one, three, and five-gallon tanks available.
